GOOD THING AVAILABLE GLOBALLY ON MAY 4; PRE-ORDER LIVE NOW
LEON SELLS OUT TWO NIGHTS AT RADIO CITY MUSIC HALL
Grammy Award nominated R&B recording artist and songwriter Leon Bridges has released his track “Beyond” from forthcoming sophomore album Good Thing; listen here. Written by Leon Bridges, Justin Tranter, Ricky Reed, Nate Mercereau and Niles City Sound (Austin Jenkins and Josh Block), “Beyond” finds Leon marveling about a new love and how much she transfixes him and wondering if she might be the one, and might “just be my everything and beyond…”.
The album will be released globally on May 4th by Columbia Records. Available both digitally and physically, Good Thing is available for pre-order here. The follow up to Leon’s critically acclaimed, award winning, Certified Gold debut album Coming Home, Good Thing was executive produced by Ricky Reed and Niles City Sound and produced by Ricky Reed. Leon and Niles City Sound, his longtime collaborators, headed out west to work with Reed with the goal of taking Leon’s music in a more modern R&B direction while staying true to his signature style.
Prior to releasing “Beyond”, Leon released two tracks to instantaneous praise: “Bet Ain’t Worth the Hand” and “Bad Bad News”. Leon, known for his aesthetic and personal style, released visuals for both tracks; directed by Natalie Rae the videos can be seen here and here. Both tracks are off to a great start: “Bet Ain’t Worth the Hand” debuted at #26 on Urban Adult Contemporary Chart and is the #2 Greatest Airplay Gainer and “Bad Bad News” has garnered Top 5 airplay at Triple A Radio.
